Summary

In this lesson, students will use the website, www.kidsvotingusa.org, to investigate rights and opportunities of voting.

Technology and/or Materials Needed

Computers with Internet access

Implementation Time Frame

One or two 45-minute class period

Activities

Students will first complete the online activity by linking to "Students Only".

Next, students will read the online chats with different candidates for senate and presidency by clicking on "Education". Students will then write questions for candidates.

Assessment

Questions composed by students may be assessed and/or exchanged to write responses.
