Net Classrooms

The Net Classroom segment is the heart of the program. Each month we highlight two to five classrooms. This year alone we visited 21 classrooms in nine school divisions and 3 independent schools in Southeastern Virginia. We spend approximately four to eight minutes on each class. Featured classes have been identified as exemplary and the teacher must furnish a detailed lesson plan in a common format-which we provide. We cover a different topic each month. The topics are chosen so that the lessons can be used the following month. For example, we cover Multicultural Celebrations in the November program so teachers can use the lessons through December. It's important to note that we do not simply show technology. We show teachers teaching subjects using technology.
